Displaying a product on your website

To display a product on your website, complete these tasks:
  • In the Item Details form in the Business Center, set the Active/Visible field to Yes.
  • Ensure that the product is in an assortment that is assigned to a customer:
    1. Create a user segment. Ensure that the customer meets the criteria of the user segment. See "Defining criteria for user segments" in the Infor Rhythm for Commerce Business Center Administration Guide or the Infor Rhythm for Commerce Business Center Online Help.
    2. Create the assortment. You can add products individually or add a category. See "Configuring assortments" in the Infor Rhythm for Commerce Business Center Administration Guide or Infor Rhythm for Commerce Business Center Online Help.
    3. Add the user segment that you defined in step 1 to the assortment.

Optionally, you can also use Warehouse Groups to determine the products that a customer sees on your website. When you define warehouse groups, you assign user segments to them. Customers in the user segments can see an item if the item is available in at least one warehouse in the warehouse group.
