Working with fields that are partially synced in inriver PIM

When you set up the inbound connector for inriver PIM, you can designate that certain fields are partially synced from the ERP. When a field is partially synced, you can optionally override the ERP value with a different value. When the item is synced to from the ERP to inriver PIM again, your override is retained.

When a field from your marketing model is designated as partially synced, two fields are displayed in inriver PIM. One fields shows the value from your ERP; you cannot edit this field. You use the other field to specify the override value. For example, if you are partially syncing a field named Item Name, a field labeled ERPItem Name and a field labeled Item Name are displayed. The ERPItem Name field contains the original value from the ERP. You would use the Item Name field to override the value.
