Omitting final price calculation

Optionally, you can configure user roles to omit final price calculation during checkout. You can enable this feature to improve checkout performance for customer users who place orders that contain many order lines.

When you enable this feature, tax and charge calculations are not retrieved by the OrderDetails web service. The final total of the order is displayed in order history after the SalesOrder BOD is processed by the ERP.

If you enable this feature for a user, disable the user's ability to pay by credit card. The final price is not available when the charge is made to the card.

  1. Select Application Setup > Roles.
  2. Click the ID of the role that you are configuring, or create a new role.
  3. Select the Skip Order Simulation check box.
  4. Click Save.
