Locating products to purchase
You can set up these features to help users find products in the web shop:
- Product categories. Use categories to organize your products into logical
groupings. Categories are used as navigation elements in the dynamic menu on the
header. When userse click a product category, the products in the category are
displayed on the Product List page.
See "Categories" in the Infor Rhythm for Commerce Web Content and Functions Guide.
See "Categories" in the Infor Rhythm for Commerce Business Center Administration Guide.
- Filters. Users can use filters to narrow the list of products based on characteristics such as size or color. Set up filters in a PIM system.
- With the Search function. After users submit their search term, the Product List page is opened, and a list of products that match the search is displayed. If a user enters a search term that yields no results, the search term that the customer entered is sent to Business Center. You can then use Zero Hit Management in Business Center to ensure that the search yields results the next time that it is run. See "Managing zero hits" in the IInfor Rhythm for Commerce Business Center Administration Guide.
