What happens when a consumer user places an order
When a consumer user places an order, information is sent to the Business Center and to the ERP.
In the Business Center, these actions occur:
- The addresses that the consumer user specified during checkout are added to the user
- The consumer user's order is added in Order Search
The details of the order are sent to the ERP with the ProcessSalesOrder BOD. The orders are associated with the customer that was set up specifically for consumer users. If you use M3 as your ERP, addresses are also replicated using a web service. All addresses are added as Ship To addresses for the consumer user customer.
