Updating product quantities in existing customer order
Depending on the order line, you can increase or decrease product quantities on your order.
- From the Order History or Edit Order, choose an order then click the Edit icon.
- On the Edit Order page, the quantity field is enabled for order lines that you can update.
-
Specify a new product quantity in the Quantity field.
Note:
Upon clicking the Quantity field, you can see the amount of products that are already processed from your original order.
Optionally, you can display the acceptable quantity range of the products you are updating to see the lower and upper quantity limits that you can change.
For items sold in multiples, such as in multiples of 2 or 5, the lower and upper quantity limits adhere to the item’s modular quantity when set to enforce. For example, if an item is sold in multiples of 2, the lower limit is 4 instead of 5 while the upper limit is 24 instead of 25. The system identifies the quantity to the nearest multiple of 2 that is within the accepted quantity range of the product to match its modular quantity.
After adjusting the product quantity, an orange highlight is displayed on the left side of the product to indicate the updated order line. A note on the Order Summary is also displayed informing the users that they must save changes to update the order.
-
Click SAVE CHANGES.
Note: A confirmation is displayed if the changes were successful or not. Unsuccessful updates are flagged with a purple warning icon to inform the user which changes failed.
- Optionally, you can click CANCEL CHANGES to revert changes.
