Setting up unit of measure mapping for cXML OrderRequests
If the procurement system does not use the same units of measure as Rhythm for Commerce, set up unit of measure mapping. You can set up different mappings for each customer.
- In the Users section of the Business Center, click .
- Click the customer number of the customer with whom you are setting up cXML PunchOut.
- In the cXML PunchOut Order Message Fields section, click .
- In the Field Name field, select ItemDetail/UnitOfMeasure.
- In the Field Value field, click the button.
- In the Field Value field, specify Unit of Measure.
- In the Criteria field, click the button.
- Click .
- In the Criteria column, select Lookup.
- Click the button.
- To use an existing mapping table, specify the name of the mapping table in the Name field in the Use Existing section. To create a mapping table, specify the name of the mapping in the Name field in the Details section.
- To add a mapping, click the button.
- In the Internal column, specify the unit of measure code that is used in Rhythm for Commerce.
- In the External column, specify the corresponding unit of measure from the procurement system.
- When you are finished creating mappings, click .
- To exit the Lookup Table dialog, click .
- In the Customer Details form, click .
