Shipping address types

Depending on your ERP and the Business Center setup, customer users can select from two types of shipping addresses during checkout: ERP addresses or web-only addresses.

ERP addresses are formally associated with the customer record in the ERP. The addresses are created in the ERP. Depending on the user role and the ERP that you use, customer users might also be able to create ERP addresses in the web shop.

Web-only addresses are created in the web shop and are not saved on customer records in the ERP. Depending on how you set up the Business Center, web-only addresses are either available only to the user who created them, or they are available to all users who are assigned to the same customer as the user who created the address.
