Setting up cost centers

To configure cost centers, you must set the application property Ordering.Cost Center enabled to true.

  1. On the Business Center home page, select Users > Cost Center.
  2. To create a new cost center, click Create New in the Cost Center page.
  3. Specify a value in the Cost Center ID field. You can change the maximum number of characters in this field in the Application Details page.
  4. Specify the customer number:
    1. Click Find.
    2. To find a customer number, specify search criteria and then click Search.
    3. Select the customer number.
    4. Click Create.
  5. To add users, click Add User.
  6. To set up multilevel order approval and multiple order approval limits, click the Approval tab. See Setting up multilevel order approval and multiple order approval limits.
  7. To specify the cost center name for each available language, click the Texts tab.
  8. Click Save.
