Creating BOD rules

When you create a new BOD rule, you give the new rule a name and then establish a set of conditions that triggers certain actions. This new rule can then be assigned to markets and virtual enterprises in the Business Center and can then be assigned to customers.

  1. On the Business Center home page, select Application Setup > BOD Rules.
  2. Click Create New.
  3. To add a new condition, specify this information:
    Name
    Specify a name for the BOD rule.
    Clause
    Specify the attribute from the customer master BOD to be used in this condition.
    X-path
    Specify the x-path of the BOD element whose value is compared to the nominated value.
    Operator
    Select an operator to define the relationship between the field and its value.
    Value
    Specify the nominated value to be compared to the value of the BOD element.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Optionally, repeat steps 3 and 4 to add more conditions.
  6. Click Save.
