Customer information overview
In the Business Center, a customer is a company that uses the Rhythm solution. Customers come from the ERP that is connected to Rhythm, and from there they are replicated into the Business Center.
Most Rhythm users belong to a company, and these users are called customer users. Rhythm users who do not belong to any customer can be one of these types:
- A guest user, who does not have a login account
- A consumer user, who is a self-registered visitor
Most customers are a business partner of the merchant company that runs Rhythm. Typically, these business partners are resellers of the merchant's items or products. The merchant company is also configured as a customer; it is identified in the Business Center as the merchant. All other companies are resellers. All new customers are automatically resellers; you cannot create another merchant company. Both types of customers have the same configuration.
