Credit card payment settings
To process credit card purchases made by customers securely, Infor e-Commerce uses CenPOS, a third-party credit card interface program. When a customer purchases items from a company using a credit card, a CenPOS user interface window is displayed in Infor e-Commerce. Through CenPOS, credit card information that users provide in Infor e-Commerce are securely processed and validated with the appropriate credit card company.
To use CenPOS as a credit card payment method, the merchant company in Infor e-Commerce must also have a CenPOS account and understand these settings:
- To require CVV when processing credit card payments, the merchant administrator must set up two users for authorization processing: One user is assigned to a role that requires CVV, while the other user is assigned to a role that does not require CVV.
- If CVV is not required, then the merchant administrator only needs to configure a user with a role that does not require CVV.
- All configured users must be set to have their passwords to never expire.
Otherwise, the merchant administrator must update the passwords in CenPOS and in the
Business Center every time they expire. If the passwords are not updated, then the
credit card transactions cannot be processed.
See Tenant application property descriptions and Application details for more information regarding the required fields to be set for CenPOS credit card payment.
