What are codes?

The e-Commerce database includes a table called CodeText, which establishes values and translations for miscellaneous options available to various other features of the application. These miscellaneous options include yes/no selections, item sales units, and order status values.

The Business Center provides a runtime interface for viewing and maintaining the content of this table. Each record in the Code table holds a single value that you can translate in each supported language. Also, each record has a type, which identifies how the entry is meant to be used. Entries are effectively grouped by having the same code type.
