Creating basic table content

  1. In the navigation pane, expand the menu under the name of the site.
  2. Select Content & Data > Web Content.
  3. Select New > Basic Web Content.
  4. Specify a name for the web content.
  5. Specify the content properties.
  6. Place the cursor in the content field. The Add button is displayed to the left of the field.
  7. Select Add > Insert Table.
  8. Specify the number of columns and rows for the table, and then click Confirm.
  9. Specify the content in the cells.
  10. Optionally, specify whether the table has headers. Place your cursor in a cell. Click the Headers arrow and select one of these options:
    Option Description
    None The table does not have headers.
    First Row The first row is the header.
    First Column The first column is the header.
    Both Both the first row and the first column are headers.
  11. Optionally, edit the structure of the table.
    • To add or delete rows, place your cursor in a cell in the row, and then click the Row button. Select the action that you want to complete.
    • To add or delete columns, place your cursor in a cell in the column, and then click the Column button. Select the action that you want to complete.
    • To format a cell, place your cursor in the cell, and then click the Cell button. Select the action that you want to complete.
  12. If the content is ready to be used on the website, click Publish. If the content is not ready for publication, click Save as Draft.
