Entities and enrichment

Entities are individual items that are associated with entity types.

The entity type that is associated with an entity determines the entity's attributes. Use the attributes to enrich the information about the entity. For example, an entity type could have attributes for color and material. When you define the entity, you could specify that the color of the item is blue and the material is wool.

If you use multiple accounting entities, then you create entities are associated with an accounting entity. The same entity can exist in more than one accounting entity.
