Dynamic Search
Use the configurations for the Dynamic Search widget to set up the behavior of the search
function.
You can set up these behaviors that affect how users interact with search:
- The number of characters that are required to be entered before search results are returned
- Display of sections for categories and brands are displayed
- The maximum number of suggestions that are made when Did You Mean functionality is enabled and the user enters a search term that does not yield results
- Display of images for products, categories, and brands
- Default appearance of the search bar
- Display of a category drop-down field that narrows the search by the selected category
Other configurations, such as the page that is opened when a user clicks a product in the search results, are also available for the widget.
You can also configure the widget to respond to dynamic searches.
