Setting up international codes

If international codes are specified for your products in inriver PIM, you can configure the web shop for searching and ordering by international code. If you configure ordering by international code, users can use international codes in quick order entry and order file upload.

Sign in to the Business Center.
To set up the ability to search by international code, complete these steps:
1. In the Items section, click Attributes.
2. Click the attribute key the international number. The Attribute Details form is opened.
3. Ensure that the Indexed field is set to Yes.
4. Click Save.
Optionally, you can add the international code attributes to the Type Ahead list. Complete these steps:
1. In the Searchendizing section, click Dashboard.
2. In the Type-ahead Suggestion Settings section, move the attribute keys for international codes to the Selected field.
3. Click Save.
To set up the ability to order by international code, complete these steps:
1. In the Application Setup section, click Application Details.
2. In the Group field, select Ordering.
3. Click Search.
4. Specify this information:
  
  International Code Separator
  
  Specify the character to use to separate the codes that you specify in the International Code parameter.
  
  International Code
  
  Specify the international codes that customers can use to order items on your website. Use the attribute key to identify the international code. If you specify more than one code, use the separator character that you specified in the International Code Separator parameter. Note that the UNSPSC code is not unique by item and should not be used for ordering.
5. Click Save.
