Requirements for the file used to upload order guides
Use an Excel file to upload the order guide. To ensure that the Excel file is formatted
correctly, we recommend downloading the template from the Bulk Update
form.
The Excel file must meet these requirements:
- The file can contain up to 2000 rows. Files with more than 2000 rows are not validated.
- The maximum file size is 2 MB.
- The order guide must be specified on the first worksheet in the Excel file.
- Each order guide file must contain one order guide name.
- Each order guide file can contain one notes entry. Notes are optional.
- Each customer number in the file must be unique.
- Each item number in the file must be unique.
This table shows the columns in the file and recommendations for specifying information in
the columns:

| OrderGuideName | You can specify only one order guide name. Order guide names are limited to 100 characters. If you specify more than 100 characters, then the guide name is truncated. |
| Notes | An entry is not required. Order header notes are limited to 500 characters. If you specify more than 500 characters, then the order header note is truncated. |
| CustomerNumber | You must specify at least one customer number. |
| ItemNumber | You must specify at least one item number. |
