How users add items from template orders to the shopping cart

Customers can access their template orders from the Template Orders List page. The prices that are in template orders are the prices that were in effect when the template was saved. Prices are updated when customers add the order to the shopping cart.

Customers can add items from the template order to the cart in these ways:
  • From the Template Order Details page, customers can optionally update order quantities and then click the ADD TO CART button in the order summary section. Items with a quantity of 0 are not added to the cart.
  • From the Template Order Details page, customers can optionally update the order quantity on an individual line, and then click the cart button on the line to add the item to the cart.
  • If customers saved order quantities when they created the template order, they can also add a template order to the cart from the Template Order List page. They cannot update quantities before adding the items to the cart.

Modular quantity validation settings and decimal quantity settings for standard items are also applied to template orders. Style items must be ordered in whole number only.

When customers click Add to Cart, they can either replace the products in the shopping cart with the products in the template order, or add the products in the template order to the products that are already in the shopping cart.
