Setting up Order transactions

Before you can process Order transactions, you must set up the Business Center. If you created customized order notifications in Rhythm Services, ensure that they are set up to omit the order details section.
To set up Order transactions, complete these procedures:
  1. Enable procurement transactions in the Business Center Application Properties form.

  2. In the Business Center Application Details form, specify the default mapping for the User ID. You can override the mapping on the customer record. form. Contact Infor Consulting Services to complete this procedure.
  3. In the Business Center Roles form, create or edit a role to include the Submit cXML Order feature element. Assign the role to the customer user who can create Order transactions.
  4. In the Business Center Customer Details form, specify cXML information.
  5. If the procurement system does not use the same units of measure as Rhythm for Commerce, set up unit of measure mappings. Complete this task in the Customer Details form.
  6. In Rhythm Services, edit custom order notification templates to omit pricing information if it is not available.
