Setting up unit of measure mapping for cXML OrderRequests

If the procurement system does not use the same units of measure as Rhythm for Commerce, set up unit of measure mapping. You can set up different mappings for each customer.

  1. In the Users section of the Business Center, click Customers.
  2. Click the customer number of the customer with whom you are setting up cXML PunchOut.
  3. In the cXML PunchOut Order Message Fields section, click Add.
  4. In the Field Name field, select ItemDetail/UnitOfMeasure.
  5. In the Field Value field, click the Modify Field Value button.
  6. In the Field Value field, specify Unit of Measure.
  7. In the Criteria field, click the Modify Criteria button.
  8. Click Add.
  9. In the Criteria column, select Lookup.
  10. Click the Modify button.
  11. To use an existing mapping table, specify the name of the mapping table in the Name field in the Use Existing section. To create a mapping table, specify the name of the mapping in the Name field in the Details section.
  12. To add a mapping, click the Add button.
  13. In the Internal column, specify the unit of measure code that is used in Rhythm for Commerce.
  14. In the External column, specify the corresponding unit of measure from the procurement system.
  15. When you are finished creating mappings, click Save.
  16. To exit the Lookup Table dialog, click OK.
  17. In the Customer Details form, click Save.
