Adding items to the cart during checkout

Customers can add items to the order in the shopping cart during checkout.
When customers merge new items with the existing order, these actions occur:
  • If customers selected one shipping address for all items in the order, the items that are subsequently added to the order are sent to the same address.
  • If customers selected multiple addresses for items in the order, then customers must specify where to send the items that they add to their orders.
  • If customers have already selected a payment method and billing address, the new items are billed to the same payment method.
  • Header notes and line notes from the added items are appended to existing header notes and line notes.
Customers can add items to their orders in these ways:
  • Place more items in the shopping cart
  • Use Quick Order Entry
  • Upload order files and select the Merge option
  • Resubmit a previously placed order or template order and select the Merge option
