Service provider-initiated sign on
Rhythm websites can use service provider (SP)-initiated single sign on for external
websites.
When this feature is enabled, users are prompted to sign in to the identity provider (IdP) the first time that they sign in to a website that is managed by the IdP. When users visit other websites that are managed by the IdP, a signed SAML authentication request is sent to the identity provider (IdP). Users are not prompted to sign in to the IdP again.
