Using an Excel file to delete attribute values

The entities that you specify must share the same top-level entity type.
  1. Create an Excel file.
  2. Prepare the first row:
    1. In cell A1, specify Operation.
    2. In cell B1, specify DeleteAttributes.
  3. Leave row 2 blank.
  4. In cell A3, specify EntityId.
  5. Starting with cell B3, specify the ID of the attributes whose values you want to delete. For example, specify Color in cell B3, Description in cell B4, Images in cell B5, and so on.
  6. Starting with cell A4, specify the ID of the entity whose attribute values you are deleting. to delete. For example, specify entity1 in A4, entity2 in A5, and so on. Entity IDs are case-sensitive.

  7. Save the Excel file.
  8. Import the Excel file.
    1. Sign in to PIM.
    2. On the dashboard, click Import / Export.
    3. If multiple accounting entities are available in PIM, ensure that you have selected the accounting entity that you want to use.
    4. Click Import.
    5. In the Import to Entity Type field, select the top-level entity type of the entities in the import file.
    6. In the Attach File field, click the browse button and select the Excel file that you are importing.
    7. Click Import.
