Setting up delivery date functions with ERP confirmation

  1. Set up the user's role:
    1. In the Business Center, select Application Setup > Roles.
    2. Click the name of the role, or create a new role.
    3. Select the Get Confirmed Delivery Date check box.
    4. If users can request different delivery dates for each line or delivery group in the order, select the Order Line Req Del Date check box. If users can request one delivery date for the entire order, clear the check box.
    5. Click Save.
    6. Assign the role to users.
  2. In Rhythm Portal, configure the Order Checkout widget:
    1. In the web shop, sign in as a site editor.
    2. Navigate to the Checkout page.
    3. On the Order Checkout widget, select Options > Settings.
    4. Specify this information:
      Show Recalculate Button
      To display the Verify Delivery Changes button, click Yes. After customers change delivery options, they click this button to confirm that their changes and to update pricing.
      Default Delivery Optimization
      To organize items so that they are delivered as quickly as possible, click Fastest Delivery. To organize items so that they are delivered in as few shipments as possible, click Fewest Deliveries.
    5. Click Save.
