Setting up spare part sales in the Business Center

Before you can display content about spare parts and sell them on your website, set up tenant application properties in the Business Center. Contact an Infor representative to assist you.

  1. To enable spare part sales, specify True in the Application.SPS Enabled field in Tenant Application Properties.
  2. To enable sales of both the parent product and the product's spare parts, specify True in the Application.Product Header Selling Enabled field. If you specify True, you can use statuses in the ERP to control whether the parent item is sold. For example, you can decide to sell parent item A and its spare parts, but sell only the spare parts of parent item B. To sell spare parts only, specify False. If you specify False, you cannot sell any parent items on your website regardless of the parent item's status in the ERP.
  3. To automatically add a parent product's spare parts to an assortment when you add the parent product, specify True in the Spare Parts.Inherit Parts into Assortment field. To manually add a parent product's spare parts to an assortment, specify False.
  4. To display technical drawings of parent products in the Items form in the Business Center and on your website, specify True in the Items.Drawing Images field. If you do not want to display technical drawings, specify False.
