Activating the use of sales unit of measure

To activate the use of sales units of measure, use the Application Properties form in the Business Center

  1. Sign in to the Business Center with tenant administrator credentials.
  2. Select Application Setup > Application Properties.
  3. Specify this information:
    Ordering.Multiple Units of Measure
    Specify true.
    WebService.OrderLine WebService Method
    Specify the web service to use to retrieve pricing information from the ERP. You can specify CatalogPrice or OrderLinePrice. If you use multiple units of measure, OrderLinePrice is the recommended value. When you specify OrderLinePrice, the price is calculated by the ERP in the sales unit of measure. If you specify CatalogPrice, the catalog price is retrieved from the ERP and multiplied by the quantity specified on the order line. The conversion factor between the base unit of measure and sales unit of measure is not included in the calculation. Therefore, if you use multiple units of measure and specify CatalogPrice in this application property, the total price displayed for order lines in the web shop will be incorrect.
  4. Click Save.
