Specifying email addresses for RFQ notifications

Customer users who request quotes receive email notifications if the users are assigned to role that has the Send Mail on Order feature element.

Use this procedure to specify additional recipients of RFQ notifications. For example, specify the email address of the customer's account manager.

  1. To specify the email addresses of individuals who receive notifications when a particular customer submits an RFQ, complete these steps:
    1. In the Business Center, select Users > Customers.
    2. Click the customer number.
    3. In the Mail Receiver for Quote, specify the email addresses of user who receive copies of the customer's RFQ notifications.
    4. Click Save.
  2. You can specify a default recipient of RFQ notifications. This individual receives notifications when an email address is not specified for a customer in the Customer Details form. Complete these steps:
    1. In the Business Center, select Application Setup > Application Details.
    2. In the Group field, select Mail Group.
    3. Click Search.
    4. In the Value field for the MailReceiverforQuote parameter, provide the email addresses of the users who receive RFQ notifications when emails are not provided on the Customer Details form.
    5. Click Save.
