Decimal quantities
The ability to order an item in a decimal quantity depends upon how the item is set up in
the ERP. The number of decimal places that can be used is sent from the ERP in the
<BaseUOMPrecision> xpath of the SyncItemMaster BOD. Rhythm for Commerce supports up to four decimal places.
In the Business Center, you can review the value in the Decimal Quantity field on the Item Details form.
In the web shop, the separator character that is used to indicate a decimal depends upon the selected locale of the website. Users are prevented from using an incorrect decimal separator. Set up the separator character in the Locales form in the Business Center.
Decimal quantities can be used with modular quantities and minimum order quantities.
This feature is not available for configurable items. Configurable items must be ordered in whole numbers.
