Product detail search engine optimization (SEO)
When product detail SEO is enabled, web crawlers can index product detail information.
When users enter a search term in an internet search engine, information about your products
can now be displayed in the search results.
This product information is tagged and exposed to web crawlers:
- Product names. Product names are used as the link that users click to open your web shop from a browser search. It is also used in the browser tab.
- Product images. The thumbnail image is included in browser search results.
- Product long description. The long description is used as the snippet text in the search result. If a long description is not provided in Infor PIM, then the long description that is available for a product in the Business Center is used.
Only products that are included in the guest user's assortment are exposed to web crawlers.
