Order notifications

Order notifications are sent after a user submits an order and after the order status is updated.
Use the Business Center to set up this information:
  • The separator character to use if email is sent to more than one recipient
  • Recipients of blind carbon copies
  • The logo to display on the email
  • The URL of the web shop
  • The URL of the order history page

Use the Notification Service to create the content of the notification.

Pre-designed templates

Two versions of order notification pre-designed template are available. The ECOM Order Notification pre-designed template contains summary information about the order. Individual line items are not included in the template. The 2.0 Example ECOM Order Notification template includes the individual line items in the order.

To use a pre-designed template as the basis for your own custom template, duplicate it.
