Order approval by cost center

When you set up order approval by cost center, orders that are associated with a cost center are submitted for approval based on the parameters that you set up in the Cost Center Details form. You can set up a single-level or multi-level approval flow.

Set up cost centers before you set up order approval.

After you set up cost centers, complete these tasks in the Business Center to set up order approval by cost center:
  1. In the Application Properties form in the Business Center, specify cost center in the Ordering.Order Approval Flow Mode application property.
  2. Set up approvers.
  3. In the Cost Center Details form, set up approver sequence groups.
  4. Ensure that requesters can receive email notifications.
