Support for Ecommerce reports with Google Tag Manager

After a customer successfully check out in the web shop, key information can now be sent as an event to Google Tag Manager. You can then use Google Analytics to view ecommerce reports.

This data is sent to Google Tag Manager:
  • Order Number
  • Order Total
  • Item ID
  • Item Name
  • Quantity
  • Main Category
  • Unit Price

Activation

In Rhythm Portal, specify the Google Analytics ID on the Site Settings form. Specify the Google Tag Manager ID on the Public Pages form.

In Google Tag Manager, create a tag to capture key information. Set up a custom event named purchase to trigger the tag.

In Google Analytics, activate Ecommerce settings.
