Terms and conditions by market

You can now create different terms and conditions articles for each market that you display in the web shop.

To specify the articles to display, use the new Checkout Terms and Conditions Article Id, User Registration Terms and Conditions Article Id, and User Registration Privacy Terms Article Id fields on the Market Details form.

As part of the enhancement, the behavior of terms in conditions in the Order Checkout widget is now consistent with the behavior in the User Checkout wdiget. These updates have been made:
  • A Terms and Conditions article ID configuration has been added to the Order Checkout widget.
  • When a user clicks the Terms and Conditions link, the information is displayed in a modal dialog box. Previously, the terms and conditions were displayed in a separate web page.

If you display only one market in the web shop or you use the same terms and conditions for all markets, you can specify the article IDs to use in the User Registration and Order Checkout widgets. Do not specify article IDs on the Market Details form.

Activation

To display different terms and conditions for each market, use the Business Center and Rhythm Portal to activate the feature.
  1. In Rhythm Portal, create web content for terms and conditions. Make a note of the article ID.
  2. In the Business Center, specify the ID of the terms and conditions article for each market in the web shop. In the Portal Settings section, specify article IDs in these fields:
    • Checkout Terms and Conditions Article Id
    • User Registration Terms and Conditions Article Id
    • User Registration Privacy Terms Article Id
  3. In the Business Center, configure roles to include the Terms and Condition Ordering and Terms and Condition Registration feature elements.
