Display of stock level values

In the web shop, you can now display the actual numeric quantity of the item in stock instead of using text or an icon to indicate the quantity level of an item.
Use the Stock Level Indicator configuration to specify how to display stock levels. The configuration is available for these widgets:
  • Product List
  • Product Details
  • Shopping Cart
  • Mini-cart
  • Product Comparison
  • Product Recommendation
  • Promotional Items

You can specify a different stock level indicator for each widget. For example, you can display the numeric stock level in the Product Details widget and the icon stock level indicator in the Mini-cart widget.

Optionally, use the new Stock Value Upper Limit application detail to specify the maximum numeric value to display in the web shop. If the in-stock quantity exceeds the upper limit, then the upper limit is displayed with a Plus sign in the web shop. For example, if you specify 500 as the upper limit, and a quantity of 550 is in stock, then 500+ is used for the stock level in the web shop.

If an item is out of stock, then "Currently not in stock" is displayed in these widgets:
  • Mini-cart and Shopping Cart
  • Product List and Product Details when the Display Available to Promise widget configuration is deactivated.
  • Product Comparison, Product Recommendations, and Promotional Items when the Show "Currently not in stock" message when item is unavailable widget configuration is activated

Limitations

Numeric stock level values must be expressed in whole numbers only. Decimal values are not supported.

Numeric stock level values are not displayed on the Spare Parts List.
