Category selection in dynamic searches
Site editors can configure the
widget to display a Category field.
To display the field, site editors set the Search Category Dropdown configuration to Yes.
When the field is displayed, Users can select a top-level category before running the search. The search results show products in the selected category only. If users navigate to a product category from the dynamic header or from the widget, the Category field is updated to show the current top-level category.
