Ability to select shipping date during checkout

Use the new Show Delivery Date Picker in Step 1 configuration in the Checkout widget to specify whether customer users and consumer users can select a shipping date for their orders in the first step of the checkout.

Use this feature in conjunction with feature elements in the Business Center to determine the selections that customer users and consumer users can make during checkout. These feature elements affect the functionality of step 1:

Get Confirmed Delivery Dates
Order Line Req Del Date
Order Line Shipping Address

This table shows an overview of the affects of feature elements on step 1 of checkout when the Show Delivery Date Picker in Step 1 widget configuration is set to Yes:

If the Show Delivery Date Picker in Step 1 configuration is set to No, then users cannot select shipment dates in step 1 of the checkout.

Note that the Show Delivery Date Picker in Step 1 configuration affects only step 1 of the checkout. Depending on feature element selection, users might still be able to select dates during step 2 of checkout.
