Global service request settings
In addition to specifying which service request categories and request types are available in Rhythm for Civics, you can specify which service request information you want to show.
Because these settings apply to all service request types, they are defined using the Request Type Global Parameters dialog box in Operations and Regulations. On the Service Request Type page, click the button and select the Portal Setup tab.
The Portal Setup tab has these sections:
-
Select the service request information that you want to show in the portal.
For the CDR Portal only, you can specify different information to show for customers and for public users. The section has one set of check boxes for customers under and a separate set under . For example, you might allow customers to add attachments to service requests, but public users can only view attachments.
See Customer and public detail options for service requests.
Only the customer options are used in the Billing Portal, because the Billing Portal does not support anonymous service requests.
For the CDR Portal only, use the check boxes under to specify which related records you want to show in My Projects, such as other applications and cases.
Note: Only related CDR instruments and service requests are included. Related asset inspections, work orders, and incidents are not shown in Rhythm for Civics. -
For the CDR Portal only, you can also use the grid to select the fields that you want to show in different contexts in the card views in My Projects and the lookup.
-
The grid defines how Customer Service details are shown in Rhythm for Civics.
