Pending register transactions
A pending register transaction is created in Operations and Regulations each time a user opens the checkout page in Rhythm for Civics. The pending transaction is used to track the prepare payment call, and the register transaction or drawer transaction key is used as a reference in the payment gateway server.
By default, the register transaction will remain pending until it is finalized or voided. If the payment process is interrupted for some reason, then it remains pending until the process is completed. For example, if the user navigates away from the checkout page without canceling or completing the process, the transaction will remain pending.
In other cases, the user might complete the payment server transaction in Rhythm for Civics, but the payment process is not completed in Operations and Regulations due to an issue such as a workflow error.
If the register transaction in Operations and Regulations is still pending after the payment server transaction is approved, the user cannot make additional payments in Rhythm for Civics until the issue is resolved.
In Operations and Regulations a batch task called Clean Up Pending Register Transactions can be set up to automatically complete or void all pending transactions. You might need to resolve any workflow issues before the task can complete successfully.
