Organizations in Rhythm for Civics

In Rhythm for Civics, a user with their own portal login account can create and administer an organization profile on behalf of an organization.

The user who creates the organization profile becomes an authorized user and administrator of the profile. The profile administrator can then invite others to join the organization as authorized users.

If the authorized user functionality is enabled, you have two options when you click the Create a Profile link on the portal login page. You can select Individual to create a personal profile for yourself, or select Organization to create an organization profile.

Creating an organization profile

An individual user account is required to create an organization profile, so you must either log in to your personal account or create a new one.

Note: Depending on the site configuration, the new user account might need to be activated before you can create an organization profile.

If the Register Organization widget is configured, a logged-in user can also select My Account > Set Up Organization to create an organization profile.
