Resetting passwords

Users' passwords can be reset in Infor Public Sector.

You can use the Contact InfoViewer in Infor Public Sector to reset portal users' passwords. Open the correct contact information record, click the Portal Account link to open the Portal User InfoViewer, then click Action and select Reset Password. A new password is then sent to the contact's email address.

Note: If you have the correct permission in Access Control, you can also reset the password for the anonymous user in the Portal User InfoViewer. In that case, an email is not sent. Instead, you must enter and re-enter a new password in the Reset Anonymous User Password dialog box and click Save.

Access to reset the anonymous password is controlled by the Reset Anonymous User Password permission under Portal > Portal User.
