DigEplan configuration
Configuration in Infor Public Sector
To configure the DigEplan integration in Infor Public Sector, use the node under the node in the CDR configuration.
- Settings for service providers are specified on the node under the node.
- Settings for customers are specified on the node under the node.
You must then use the
node under the node to specify which document types will be cached for use in DigEplan.For details about the DigEplan integration, see the CDR administration guides in the Infor Public Sector User and Administration Library on docs.infor.com.
Each of the configured document types must be configured for the correct roles in Rhythm for Civics using the Portal Configuration grid in Document Type Setup.
You must also set up access control for your EDM providers and document types. The user that you use to connect to Infor Public Sector (specified on the node of the Portal configuration) must be granted access to the providers and that you want to use.
Finally, to show the Building Permits System Setup. In the grid on the Portal Setups tab, select the My Projects check boxes for the Electronic Plans field.

Availability of the DigEplan integration can be configured separately for building, planning, project, and use application types in Infor Public Sector. You can indicate whether users can include electronic plans when submitting new applications in the portal, and you can select which tabs are shown for electronic plans.
To configure DigEplan submissions for an application type, open the Application Type dialog box and select the Portal Setup tab. If the DigEplan integration is configured, the DigEplan Customer Comments and DigEplan Customer Submittal check boxes are shown.
The DigEplan Customer Submittal check box controls whether the step is shown in the Add Instrument widget when a customer submits an application of this type. Electronic plans are not shown in the Add Instrument widget if this check box is not selected.
In the My Projects Card View and Instrument Detail widgets, the DigEplan Customer Submittal check box controls whether the Submission Package tab is shown for electronic plans.
The DigEplan Customer Comments check box controls whether the Comments tab is shown for electronic plan in the My Projects Card View and Instrument Detail widgets. The Comments tab is not shown when adding electronic plans in the Add Instrument widget.
Configuration in Rhythm for Civics
To use the integration in Rhythm for Civics, the advanced attachment feature must be enabled.

To configure the integration, open the Portal configuration in the Configuration Editor and select the
node under the node.The integration must be enabled separately for each module. For example, to enable DigEplan for Building Permits, set the Enable Building Electronic Plan attribute to True. You can also the node under the node to specify which attributes of the electronic plan reviews will be shown to portal users in different roles.
