Portlet configuration

Different payment gateways handle sessions differently. For the authorize and capture scenario, the user may not be allowed to submit more than a specified number of bad credit card payment trials. In that case, Rhythm for Civics will reload the checkout page with a new payment session.

Use the Max # of Trials in the checkout widget configuration to specify the maximum number of attempts. If you leave this field blank, Rhythm for Civics will never reloaded the page in case of a failure when authorizing a payment. Enter 0 if you want Rhythm for Civics to reload the session every time it fails to authorize a credit card payment.
