Inspection configuration

This change affects these configuration settings:

• Inspection Detail: Allow Customer to Specify if Partial Inspection, Allow public to request an inspection, Capture Request Date To Call Date
• Instrument Detail: Allow Customer to Specify if Partial Inspection, Allow public to request an inspection, Capture Request Date To Call Date
• Request Inspection: Allow Customer to Specify if Partial Inspection, Capture Request Date To Call Date
• My Assignments Card View: Capture Request Date To Call Date

To use the settings from Infor Public Sector you must enable the Use Back-office for Inspection Behaviors feature in the Features Upgrade widget.

After this feature is enabled, the Allow Customer to Specify if Partial Inspection, Allow public to request an inspection, and Capture Request Date To Call Date settings in the widget configuration are no longer used.

The settings from the Portal Setups tab in the system setup form, such as Building Permits System Setup, are used instead. These settings are found on the Inspection subtab.

The Capture Request Date To Call Date on the Inspection subtab is the same as in the widget configuration. To allow customers to specify partial inspections, and to allow public users to request inspections, use the Scheduling check boxes under Customer Options and Public Options.
