Recovering usernames

Rhythm for Civics can be configured to allow users to recover forgotten usernames.

This feature requires Infor Public Sector January 2022 or later. It is not supported if you are using Rhythm for Civics with Infor Public Sector 11.1.

Note: The forgot username functionality is not supported if you have configured a single sign on provider for Rhythm for Civics.

To allow users to recover their usernames, browse to the Setup > Login node in the Portal configuration and set the Allow Forgot Username attribute to True.

When a user clicks the Forgot Username link in the Login widget, the Forgot Username widget is displayed. The user must enter their email address or mobile number to confirm their identity, and a recovery message is emailed using the template specified in the Forgot Username Template attribute on the Login node.

You can also require reCaptcha for recovering usernames.
