Creating reservation outbound partner and subscription

To create reservation OTA Outbound, you must enable the following two events:

  • PMSEvent: By default, PMSEvent is always enabled, and is part of the *-My enterprise partner which is always installed and enabled by the build.
  • ReservationEvent : You must configure ReservationEvent, for which you need to create OTA OUTBOUND partner.

To create reservation OTA Outbound partner:

  1. Select Administration > Databridge > Databridge Partners.
  2. Click New Record.
  3. Specify this information:
    Partner
    Specify OTA OUTBOUND as the partner. Also specify the partner description such as OTA OUTBOUND.
    Partner ID
    Specify the ID code by which to identify the reservation partner in the business documents exchanged with the partner. For example, OTA OUTBOUND.
    Active
    Select check box to indicate that the Databridge partner is active. If unchecked, no events will be sent to the partner.
    Default Location
    Enter the default location associated with the partner. This is not mandatory. Even if you do not specify any location, the outbound is still generated.
    Infor ResRent User ID
    Enter the user ID code identifying the ResRent user.
    Infor ResRent Password
    Enter the password for the ResRent user.
    Note: For the * partner, you must enter the ResRent User ID and ResRent Password for the ResRent user selected as the system user of the Databridge server. For other partners, you must enter a ResRent User ID and ResRent Password for a ResRent user to run business transactions for the partner.
  4. Click Subscriptions tab.
  5. In the Subscription Details and Message Delivery sections, specify this information:
    Event
    Select ReservationEvent from the lookup.
    Document Type
    Specify ReservationEvent. ReservationEvent is used by Databridge internally to determine what kind of message is being sent. You can specify any text value in this field and cannot leave it blank.
    Enabled
    Select check box to enable the event.
    Address
    Specify the URL to which outbound documents are sent for the selected event. The URL is either any FTP or HTTP location.
    User ID
    Specify the user ID for logging into the receiving system to which outbound documents are sent. The User ID and Password is mandatory for the receiving system and you cannot leave it blank otherwise the delivery will fail.
    Special Handling
    For reservation outbound, specify DefaultMessageHandler/R04/R04/OTAVehicleExtract.
  6. ClickSubmit. The subscription is saved and updates the Subscriptions list.
    Note: To delete a partner subscription, select the subscription to delete, and then click Delete Subscription.
