Viewing Databridge message status

Use the Message ID page to view detailed information such as the :

  • Processing, delivery, and retry details for Databridge messages.
  • XML documents: You can view the XML content for Databridge request and delivery messages.
  • Processing history for messages: Each time a request message or a sub-data area of a message is processed, a processing history record is stored in the database and the record is displayed on the Processing tab of the Message ID screen. If a message does not have multiple sub-data areas, the Time Processed, Status, and Status Message display the same values as the corresponding fields on the primary message. The Data Area is always blank. When one sub-data area of a message is processed at a time, the processing status of each sub-data area is recorded. While the sub-data area is being processed, the status information of the main record reflects the overall status of the sub-data area. The Time Processed is populated with the time that the last sub-data area was processed.
  • Related messages: Related messages are messages for which the Context ID or Correlation ID values are the same. For example, a single outbound event generates a Databridge event message and several Databridge delivery messages that have the same Context ID. Therefore, the messages are related.
  • Delivery history for messages: Each time attempts to deliver a response/outbound message or a sub-data area of a message to the destination are made, a delivery history record is stored in the database and is displayed the record(s) on the Delivery page of the Message ID form. The Address is populated with the actual URL or other destination to which the message or the sub-data area was delivered. Multiple addresses (URLs) can be associated with the destination. The last address to which the delivery attempt for the message failed is displayed, and if the address is not applicable, nothing is displayed.
  • Suspending the reprocessing schedule for multiple messages simultaneously: Databridge automatically will reprocess a failed or idle message that is to be delivered to a partner. Because such event messages are usually required to be delivered in sequence, a failed or idle message must be successfully processed or delivered before the next message can be processed or delivered. If a message cannot be processed or delivered successfully, it needs to be suspended to allow subsequent messages to flow. Also, you can remove the failed messages from the queue so other messages can be processed by the system.
  • Reprocessing messages using the retry mechanism:
Note:  You can remove the failed messages from the queue so other messages can be processed by the system.
