Using walkup

Use the Walkup toolbar button to provide a quick rate quote to the renter without starting a new Reservation session or a new Walk Up reservation. You can also provide quotes for reservations of type Multi-Month.

Note: Brand defaults to the brand of the session location. You can select a different brand.

To open Walkup pop-up:

  1. Select Walkup button on the toolbar from any screen.
  2. Specify the information that you require.
  3. Select the rate that you want.
  4. Click Use Quote. The information is defaulted on Reservation or Walk Up screen based on the value selected in the Quote Type field.
  5. Alternatively, click Queue in case you are still processing an existing record and invoke the pop-up to provide the quote for a new renter, but you must complete the current record before you can proceed with the quote. The information in the quote is saved for later use.
  6. To use the Walkup in queue, click New Record on the Reservation, Walk Up screen, or, in case of a call center agent click ACD (Automatic Call Distribution) button to retrieve the Walkup that is in the queue.
