Renter

Use the Renter tab to specify the required renter details.

To specify the details:

  1. Select Reservations > Reservation > Renter/Itinerary.
  2. Specify the information that you require. See additional details about these fields:
    Loyalty Number
    Specify the loyalty number. See Searching for a renter profile.
    Loyalty Tier
    Specify the loyalty tier of the renter.
    Enroll
    Click Enroll to invoke a pop-up where you can enroll the renter into internal loyalty programs.
    Special Handling
    If this check box is selected by the system, it indicates that the user must log into the Document Management system and search by the renter name to retrieve special handling request information. This flag is passed from CRM or is attached to CDP.
    Age
    Specify the age of the renter.
    CDP#
    Specify the corporate discount plan number to avail any discounts.
    Membership #
    Specify the membership number in order to apply the CDP to the reservation. For example, if you add a AAA CDP number to the reservation and system displays a message that the CDP number requires a membership number, you must specify the AAA membership number in the field.
    Reason for Rental
    Specify the reason for which the vehicle is rented. For example, tourism.
    Transfer of Rights
    Click the Transfer of Rights button in case of an auto accident.
    Applicant #
    Specify the applicant number. The profile for the applicant number is retrieved from external CRM (Customer Relations Management) system.
    Applicant PIN
    Specify the applicant Personal Identification Number (PIN).
    Update Profile
    If this check box is selected, the information in updated in the renter profile.
    Renter Not Driver
    Select this check box to indicate that the driver is disabled.
    Visually Impaired Renter
    Select this check box to indicate that the renter is visually impaired. This field is sent to CPQ to enforce business rules.
    Platinum LOA
    Select this check box if you have a Loyalty Number on the reservation with a Loyalty Tier designated as Platinum.
    DL#
    Specify the driver's license number.
    DL Expiration Date
    Specify the expiration date on the driver's license.
    Rewards Program
    Specify the rewards program that you want to use on the reservation. This field can have multiple values if multiple reward programs are associated with the renter profile which is successfully retrieved from the CRM based on the Loyalty Number.
    Rewards Number
    The rewards number is populated by the system based on the rewards program that you selected.
    Promotion
    Specify the promotion that must be used. Click Add Promotion to specify additional promotions.
    Contract #
    Specify the contract number associated with the CDP number for a vehicle reservation.
    Convention Number
    Specify the convention number if the vehicle is rented for any convention. This field displays the number defaulted from the CPQ tool to the Reservation page, and then it is populated on Customer Care page.
    Tax ID
    Specify the tax identification number. Tax Id is initially populated from the Renter Profile. The renter profile is only updated when the value is changed on the screen. If the renter profile value is changed, the value on the Reservation page is not automatically changed.
    TNC #
    Specify the Transportation Network Company identification number.
  3. Select the Additional Drivers check box to enable the additional driver fields and add the additional drivers to the vehicle reservation.
