Viewing log files

Use the View Log Files page to view and save log and configuration files. Saved files are copied to a specified location on the local drive.

To view log files:

  1. Select Administration > Security > View Log Files.
  2. Specify this information:
    File Type
    Choose one of the following options:
    • All
    • Log
    • Configuration
    Log Type
    Choose one of the following options:
    • All
    • Apache
    • Axis
    • Databridge
    • Ejcron
    • Grid Query
    • Report
    • Server
    • Session
    • Session List
  3. Click Display Files. The system automatically populates File Name, File Type, and Log Type.
  4. Click Select to select the files to save.
    Note: If multiple files are selected, the system automatically compresses and saves them as one file.
  5. Click Save. The system creates the file and then displays the Save As popup.
  6. Select the folder in which to save the file, and then click Save. The system saves the record in .XML format.
